Welcome to the home page of the Therapist Category of the United States Public Health Service. We are a multidisciplinary category composed of highly skilled and mobile health-care providers from the following professions: audiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and speech language pathology. The Therapist Category supports the mission of the Commissioned Corps of the U. S. Public Health Service to protect, promote, and advance the health and safety of the nation.

Time Sensitive Information

Please check the date of your last medical exam. Recently officers are not qualified at quarterly readiness checks because their medical exams are out of date. Plan ahead and give yourself several months to complete this requirement.

NEW REQUIREMENT FOR DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED TO MAB! All documentation must have a signature, date, and time or else it will not be accepted per CDR Waterman, USPHS - Response Coordinator, Office of Force Readiness and Deployment.

What's New?

As of August 1, 2011, you should be able to log on to the Transfer of Education Benefits (TEB) web application and apply for transference of your unused Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits to your eligible dependents.

The Therapist Category website has been moved!  The procedure to update webpage content is the same.  Fill out the Webpage Update Form and CDR Rinaldi will contact you for confirmation.
