USPHS Hispanic Officer Advisory Committee - Welcome!
The Hispanic Officers Advisory Committee (HOAC) was established in 1990 as one
of four Chartered Minority Advisory Groups under the Minority Officers Liaison
Council (MOLC), authorized by the Surgeon General to represent the interests and
concerns of Hispanic Officers within the US Public Health Service. HOAC provides
advice and consultation to the Office of the Surgeon General and MOLC on issues
relating to the professional practice and the personnel activities of Hispanic
Officers. HOAC provides similar advisory assistance, upon request, to Agency
and/or Program Heads of the Public Health Service (PHS) and to non- PHS programs
that routinely use PHS personnel.
We welcome you to peruse our website and find out more so that you too can
become an active HOAC member. Thank you for visiting HOAC!
